The 1000 / 2000 Builder Series and the 3000 / 5000 Premier Series use different size battery doors. All 1000 / 2000 Builder Series thermostats use the item number 2990 battery door. All 3000 / 5000 Premier Series thermostats use the item number 5990 battery door. The 500, 505 and 507 mechanical thermostats use item number 590 labels.
