1. Turn the
humidistat down to a lower set point.
2. Check all wire connections and go over the wiring of the unit.
3. Check the wire connections to ensure that two wires are not touching
one another. |

1. By-pass
damper is closed.
2. Humidistat is off.
3. Lack of water coming into the evaporator pad.
4. Humidifier sizing is not correct.
5. Evapoprator pad is near the end of it's life.

1. Turn the
by-pass damper to the (OPEN) or
(WINTER) position.
2. Turn the humidistat up to a desirable position for proper humidification
levels in the home.
3. Check the strainer on the inlet of the solenoid valve for debris.
Also, check the orifice on the outlet of the solenoid valve, to see
if thier are any obstructions.
4. Check the output rating of the humidifier and compare that to a humidification
load calculation.
5. The evaporator pad should be changed once every season to obtain
peak performance.
6. Try hooking the water supply to the hot water line for an increase
of humidity.
7. The humidifier has not run enough to raise the relitive humidity
in the home. It typically will take a minamum of two weeks to notice
an improvment in the humidity level within the home. |

1. No demand
for the heating cycle and or the blower operation.
2. Setting on humidistat is below the home's current humidity level.
3. Power loss to humidifier. |
1. Turn up
the heat above the current set point on the thermostat, then turn up
the humidistat to the (ON) postiton and check to see if the humidifier
is running.
2. Increase the humidity set point on the humidistat to a higher setting.
3. Check for a loss of power at the solenoid valve or the humidistat. |

1. Turn up
the heat above the current set point on the thermostat, then turn up
the humidistat to the (ON) position to verify humidifier operation.
2. Turn up the set point of the humidistat for operation or to increase
the humidity level in the home.
3. Check for a loss of power at the solenoid valve or the humidistat.
4. Check water line at varius connection points to see where the obstruction
is and correct the issue, |
